The Torus solution

Torus Solutions has developed a technical solution to reuse large concrete oil/gas platforms in combination with a patented subsea structure.

• The main platform contains a dry atmospheric transfer system from 25m above the sea level to the sea floor, more than 100 m below the sea level.
• An atmospheric transfer system will be developed to transfer people and goods from the bottom of the main structure to a hollow torus subsea structure.
• This combination of infrastructures is well suited for research and development in several scientific fields or for more specific developments such as:
  - Large scale production of clean energy
  - Production and storage of hydrogen
  - Marine technology and ocean research
  - Fish and fish farming
  - Material technology
  - CO2 cleaning process and storage
